This crew installed roll up doors this Saturday.
We’re getting into the home stretch!
A work party has been scheduled for this Saturday, July 13th at 9am to get roll-up doors installed to complete our lock up area. Other work on Saturday is TBD.
Your club needs YOU! If you’re available, please show up!
This effort will help get the club ready for the Oshkosh Food Booth and upcoming Wings of Freedom Tour dates…. our main fundraising events for the year.
EAA Chapter 104 needs you!
Please show up for the the work party on June 22nd at 8:00 AM. It will involve some excavation plus possible additional work. We are working to arrange for some equipment to do some digging, but we also need volunteers to do some fine digging and grading. Please bring a shovel, earth rake and other earth-moving tools.
Can you only show up for a little while? That’s OK! The more bodies the better.
Come out… volunteer… trade stories.. and possibly even learn something! Plus… there are airplanes right on the ramp! While working you can criticize landings, takeoffs, types of aircraft…. it’s loads of fun!
Please comment here or contact Ed Hanson or Larry Whitlow and let them know you will be there.
Kudos to these guys for showing up and getting some framing done this weekend.
EAA Chapter 104’s June 2019 meeting will be at the chapter room at KVPZ (Porter County Regional Airport) at 6:30PM. We’ll be discussing some construction needed for our summer 2019 events.
This is a board meeting, but all members and interested parties are invited. We will meet at the pavilion at 6:30 PM this Thursday, June 6th, to discuss construction and timing of buildout.
- Commit to dates to get things done by late July.
- Decide on one pancake day or two for the bombers.
See you there!
Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone.
EAA Chapter 104 hopes this ramp makes the pavilion more accessible to our community here in Porter County.
Be sure to come see Chapter 104 at some of our summer events! Can you smell the burgers?
The Aviation Pavilion at KVPZ is getting an overhaul! EAA Chapter 104 is adding a bay to the pavilion to better serve the aviation community at events this summer. Be especially sure to come join the Collings Foundation and EAA Chapter 104 for the Valparaiso Tour Stop of the Wings of Freedom Tour.
The Aviation Pavilion at Porter County Regional Airport is a community asset. Stop by, have lunch in the shade, and watch some aircraft operations at KVPZ. Get involved with your local aviation community!
